The primary camera on the VLR300 is a Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) CCD head designed for use in pipe inspection and other hazardous environments. Inclination (pitch and roll) data, distance and date/time are overlaid on the video. Optionally, the sonar data can be overlaid on the video signal in addition to the sonar data file. Video Reporting Pipe Eye offers video reporting to current standards such as WRC/NAPA
and NASSCO/PACP codes. Other codes can be provided upon request.
Video is provided in MPEG2 format. Other video codecs can be provided upon request.
Raw Video CollectionSome applications only require a quick visual inspection for obstacles or other obvious problems and do not require a full report to a particular code standard. PipeEye can simply collect the raw video data and provide video data only without, extensive reporting, for a more cost-effective result. Following the code standards requires the operator to stop the crawler and examine each defect, then enter data into the reporting software. This can significantly extend the time in the field, which is costly. Ultimately, PipeEye is flexible and will strive to accommodate your requirements. |
