Long Range inspection applications range from off-shore platforms to on-shore pipelines that are unsuitable for 'pig' inspections.
For many of these applications the oil and gas industry often requires Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) data in addition to video and sonar images of the pipe.
Non-destructive examination (NDE) is often required using equipment such as Ultrasonic transducers (UT), Electromagentic acoustic transducers (EMAT) and P-wave.
The Long Range Inspection System has spare data channels (including fiber optics) providing the capability to integrate additional sensors and devices such as Ultrasonic transducers (UT), Electromagentic acoustic transducers (EMAT) and P-wave devices.
